URTCast is a Roku receiver channel that displays photos, videos and audio sent to it by its companion mobile app over your local home network. We designed URTCast to do its job without collecting your personal information.
None. URTCast does not require an account, does not ask you to sign in, and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies in the channel.
When you cast from the companion app, the app sends URTCast a link to the selected media on your local network. The Roku device fetches that media directly from your phone (or from the original web address, if you cast a web link) and plays it on your TV. Your photos and videos are not uploaded to us or to any third-party server, and they are not stored by the channel after playback ends.
URTCast does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect any. Playback uses the standard media features provided by Roku OS.
URTCast does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
